Simplify remote administration and helpdesk
VISULOX offers a Helpdesk component for companies which have to manage a large amount of users and like to group them into compact unities for administration, access control and support. That function can be added without any change in the existing installation.
With that component added, the management console can be split into different views – e.g. according to location, application user or different operation systems. Due to the splitting the requirements towards the administrator are made more homogenous and easier to handle.
As needed, the supervisor of a management entity can enter the session window of a user via cooperation session and assist.
Furthermore, the supervisor can grant access to special areas of the infrastructure, without passing on a password. The super user can stop the view of the user while entering the password. Then, the user can fulfil his task during the session. if necessary the session can be recorded and stored audit proof – always within the compliance specifications.
VISULOX is based on Oracle Secure Global Desktop (OSGD). For The helpdesk component the client is used as display station only – no data is transferred. So the data security is guaranteed.
