FAQ’s

  • 1. Which changes are needed on server and/or clients to integrale VISULOX?

Not any – there is NO modification at the server at all and the Client device becomes even less complex. Only a webbrowser nedds to be available to run VISLULOX – not any other clientsoftware is needed.
  • 2. Which license Modell is used for VISULOX?

VISULOX is licensed on a concurrent user Modell. There may be lots of possible remote users, only the number of users which is aktiv in parallel needs to be licensed. That Modell is consitant for all functional modules – Number of parallel recording streams for the Recorder licensing and number of parallel Controller session for the Command GUARD Modul.
  • 3. How complex is the Integration of VISULOX?

The implementation is done in three steps in general.

    • Workshop (max 1 day) with the customer to define the target architecture and to gather rge needed information (userrepository, Network addresses, applications to be integrated a.s.o.)
    • Installation and Konfiguration 2-5 days for small and Medium Environments, max 15-20 days for multilocation and complex ones
    • Handover and training for the operations Team

There is no systemoutage needed to integrale the solution. The users can be migrated from the old solution to the VISULOX System without disturbing the production.

  • 4. What are the system requirements for VISULOX?

Either physical server or Virtual systems may be used. There are 2 independant parts in the architecture :

    • Gateway at the borderline to the outside Network / Internet
    • The VISULOX Server between the Datacenter and the DMZ

Redundancy is supported to increase the availability.  In normal operation mode all systems are used and the load is automatically distributed. There is no systemoutage needed to integrale the solution. The users can be migrated from the old solution to the VISULOX System without disturbing the production.

  • 5. Can several locations be covered by one VISLULOX system?

Yes the underlying architecture is supporting that explizitly. Users may log in the system at different locations. It is possible to assign different user Privilegs or access rules depending on the location. To support the multilocation management, the management Konsole can be Split up and each location may cover one location. The licenses are valid for all locations and the license count is done over the complete environment.
